The traditional ESS Summer School serves as a pre-program to the ESS Congress and is dedicated to a specific clinical topic. It will take place the day before the ESS Congress at facilities of the Cologne-Merheim Medical Center (CMMC). It usually bridges critical care and emergency medicine with cutting-edge research over a range of scenarios and settings. The program is designed for young scientists, healthcare professionals, and motivated students eager to explore and integrate clinical and research aspects of their respected field of interest. The 2027 ESS Summer School will be organized by junior faculty: Dr. Nils Becker and Dr. Birte Weber. The application period for the summer school will be announced here shortly.
